While sitting on the dock of the bay watching the tide roll away, intrepid traveller and entrepreneur Derek Ing, pondered this very question. Surely anyone visiting Vancouver or Bowen Island would want to get out on the water. But not everyone is ready to captain their own boat.

And the idea of Reddings boat charters was born… getting visitors and locals alike out on the water, minus the hassle and stress. Our mission is to allow you to enjoy the open waters and sea shores of Howe Sound to the fullest.

We are dedicated to our clients’ safety - all boat captains are fully certified by Transport Canada. We are also stewards of this region hoping to foster ecological awareness and an appreciation for these Unesco recognized waters .

But more than anything, we simply hope to encourage and facilitate whatever special moment that you would like to build with your friends and loved ones.
